Glasstream Powerboats 221 CC – A First Time Buyer’s Dreamboat

Published May 17th, 2017 by Bernardo

Glasstream Powerboats was established in 1983 by A.L. Kirkland in Panama City, Florida. In 1988, Kirkland invented the first ever inverted stepped hull design and to this day, most modern performance boats use some variation. This stepped hull improves efficiency, reduces drag and in turn, boosts speed. Glasstream Powerboats are light, fuel efficient and a boat load of fun to own and operate.

The 221 CC is Glasstream’s bestselling boat for many reasons. The versatility offered by the signature stepped hull lets owners venture into skinny water, and the forged bonded hull absorbs impact in rougher water, making passengers more comfortable in any type of water conditions. The cockpit features race style gauges, dry storage for cell phones, keys, and other small items. The flip-up front entry console provides additional dry storage and hides an onboard head. She also features a 64-quart live well and a 240-quart fish box with an outside drain and plenty of storage for poles and tackle, making this a perfect fishing machine.
