Make-A-Wish... Granted!

On Monday, February 22nd at 4:00 pm, we fulfilled the wish of a local young man through the Make-A-Wish foundation. His original ‘wish’ letter is attached along with the supporting document for the wish. (Yes, you read it right… it’s a $9,500 fishing kayak!) The Make-A-Wish foundation, along with the recipient, was on-site to present the kayak and to launch it in our waterway, where James tried it out for the first time. There was a small ceremony with cake & refreshments for family members and attendees, and a special area was set up along the water- all designed to further enhance this experience for James.
