AquaZone joins Miami show for first time

South Florida-based Nautical Ventures and Informa, co-owner of the Miami Yacht Show, have teamed up to offer AquaZone for the first time.

A staple at the Palm Beach and Fort Lauderdale shows, the AquaZone is a demonstration area featuring the latest in watersports and personal watercraft. Highlights include live flyboard demonstrations with commentary by world champion flyboarder Kristen Smoyer, plus Powervision underwater drone demos, SeaBob and Rover Boat Boards in action, yogis on stand-up paddleboards, kayak fishing seminars, the Schiller Water Bikes featured in Olympic swimming phenom Michael Phelps’ race against a great white shark, and more.

AquaZone by Nautical Ventures

Demonstrations are performed by Nautical Ventures staff or designated vendors; show attendees are not permitted in the tank. Find the AquaZone south of entrance No. 3, near 47th Street along Collins Avenue.

VIP tickets offer lounge, concierge

The annual brokerage show on Collins Avenue has added a VIP Experience for attendees and exhibitors.

A new floating waterfront lounge is located at the center of the show, nestled among some of the largest yachts on display, and will offer pass holders open bar and refreshments, special showcases and concierge services, all in a climate-controlled setting. The concierge service provided by Delmay & Partners will arrange for tours of exhibiting yachts and other requests.

Featured among the special showcases is Watches & Wonders Miami, a nearby event representing more than 20 luxury timepiece manufacturers. It coincides with the Miami Design District Concours, a showing of more than 100 post-war vintage, sports/exotic cars and supercars including examples from Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, Aston Martin, Bentley and Rolls Royce. Shuttle service will be available.

VIP tickets are $150 per day and include admission to the show. For more details and to purchase tickets, visit MiamiYachtShow.com.

Celebrating its 30th year, the Miami Yacht Show attracts a global audience to a display of more than 500 new and brokerage yachts. In addition to its Collins Avenue location, the show also includes a display of superyachts on Watson Island at the Island Gardens Deep Harbour marina. Yacht brokers can arrange transportation for clients between the two show locations or guests may visit MiamiYachtShow.com/superyacht to register for access.
