The NEW Axopar 24 is big on features wrapped inside a 7-meter hull. With 3 Best New Boat of the Year Awards under their belt, Axopar has done it again with the introduction of their new 24-foot model.
I have one simple rule of thumb in buying any pre-owned vessel. Pay for a boat survey. Unless you’re towing home a scowl bought for the purpose of a complete refit, hire a qualified marine surveyor and have your prospective vessel thoroughly checked out.
Let’s face facts. To a first-time new boat buyer, navigating the waters among a sea of brands can be pretty tricky, and expensive. Beneath that shiny exterior and gelcoat can lie a host of construction factors and performance issues not readily understood to the novice boater. That’s where Nautical Ventures comes in to the picture. We do the legwork for you and only carry brands that meet our high standards, so your time on the water can be the best it can be.
One of the most exciting and innovative boats to come out of Europe is AXOPAR Boats.
Nautical Ventures is currently the leading Axopar dealer for the United States, with two locations in Broward and Palm Beach counties.
Axopar Boats was designed and developed by true boating enthusiasts for the quality conscious boater, combining high level functionality with fresh design. The result is a vessel that delivers on two promises – great quality and great value. There are five tenements written into the Axopar creed that allow for this combination of benefits that no other builders can deliver.
Glasstream came to the performance center console party with the most experience in the fishing boat world.
When it comes to boating awards, there are many. Various magazines and marine organizations all give out some form of recognition to the builders of new and innovative boats. But there is one that rises above the clutter providing a standard by which all others are judged. European Powerboat Winner for 2016; Boat of Year 2016 by Motorboat & Yachting; and 14 separate magazine judges voted for the "Best Boat for Fun" and the winner is... AXOPAR.
When McLaren Cars and Boeing Aircraft Corporation decided to use carbon fiber in some of their newest designs, there was a reason. Carbon fiber helps to create a lighter, stronger and stiffer body, yet easily molded to any shape. So it's only natural that this technology will eventually make its way into the boat building world. Sometime in 2016, Buddy Davis will be introducing their new 42 foot center which will be the first boat of its kind in the world to be made 100% of carbon fiber. Here's your textbook lesson on carbon fiber:
Century Boat Company was founded in 1926. In 1928, the company moved to Manistee, Michigan where it remained for over 60 years. In the 1940's, Century was awarded a government contract to manufacture 3600 boats for World War II and received the Army-Navy 'E' Citation for high achievement in production.
