When McLaren Cars and Boeing Aircraft Corporation decided to use carbon fiber in some of their newest designs, there was a reason. Carbon fiber helps to create a lighter, stronger and stiffer body, yet easily molded to any shape. So it's only natural that this technology will eventually make its way into the boat building world. Sometime in 2016, Buddy Davis will be introducing their new 42 foot center which will be the first boat of its kind in the world to be made 100% of carbon fiber. Jigging is the practice of vertical fishing with a lure where you create a up & down jerking motion to attract the fish. Ideally the fisherman uses a rod with enough sensitivity to feel contact with the lure and ultimately the strike of the fish. Most fish are caught near the bottom.

On Monday, February 22nd at 4:00 pm, we fulfilled the wish of a local young man through the Make-A-Wish foundation. His original ‘wish’ letter is attached along with the supporting document for the wish. (Yes, you read it right… it’s a $9,500 fishing kayak!)
